The National Communications Authority was established in 2012 following the adoption of the National Communications Law. Since its inception, the NCA has played a pivotal role in developing Somalia's rapidly growing telecommunications sector.
Over the years, the NCA has issued hundreds of licenses, developed key regulatory frameworks, and worked to bring reliable communications services to all corners of Somalia.
